Description

The ERG-DIN M3 Tapping Collet is an ER-style tapping collet with an internal square drive, made to hold DIN-standard taps for M3 threads (shank 3.5 mm, square 2.7 mm). The square drive locks the tap’s square so it can’t spin in the collet under tapping torque, for secure, accurate threading on CNC machines.

DIN or ISO?

DIN and ISO taps for the same thread size can have different shank and square dimensions, so make sure the collet matches the standard of your taps. Check the shank and square sizes in the table against your tap.
