Description

The Collet Nut A ER20 is a replacement ER20 collet nut (type A). The nut screws onto the ER20 chuck or spindle nose and closes the collet evenly around the tool shank, giving a secure, concentric grip. A worn or damaged nut is a common cause of run-out and tool slip, so replacing it restores clamping accuracy.

Fitting tips

Clip the collet into the nut before screwing the nut onto the chuck.
Tighten with the matching ER spanner; don’t over-tighten.
Keep the nut, collet and chuck taper clean and free of chips.
