Description
The Collet 7mm ER20 is a precision ER20 spring collet that clamps tool shanks from 7 mm down to 6 mm. It is made from 65Mn alloy spring steel, fully hardened for durability, and manufactured to 0.015 mm accuracy for tight tolerances, low run-out and consistent machining results.
How ER collets work
An ER collet is a slotted sleeve that closes evenly around the tool shank when the collet nut is tightened, gripping the full length of the bore for a secure, concentric hold. Each collet covers a small clamping range, so choose the collet that matches your shank: a 7 mm end mill or router bit needs a 7 mm collet. ER20 collets only fit ER20 nuts and collet chucks.
