Description

The Zycron DNMG Turning Insert is an indexable carbide DNMG turning insert in Zycron GCT 217 grade for profiling, copying and general turning on CNC and conventional lathes. It is used in steel, stainless steel and cast iron, and fits MDJNR external holders.

Reading the ISO code

D = 55° rhombic (D) shape, N = negative 0° (N) clearance, M = M-class tolerance, G = double-sided with chipbreakers on both faces (G). The numbers that follow give the cutting edge length, thickness and corner radius, so match them to the pocket of your holder.
