The Nexcut 4mm Spiral Downcut 2 Flute Carbide Endmill is a 2-flute solid carbide spiral down-cut router bit for clean, precise CNC routing where the top-edge finish matters. The down-cut geometry pushes chips downward, leaving smooth, splinter-free edges on the top surface.
How a downcut spiral router bit works
Down-cut spirals press the material down as they cut, which keeps veneers and laminates from lifting and gives the cleanest top edge. Because chips are pushed into the cut, they clear less easily than with an up-cut bit, so use them for shallower passes, or with good dust extraction, on deeper cuts.
