Description
The Nexcut 8mm Compression Cut 2 Flute Carbide Endmill is a 2-flute solid carbide compression router bit for clean, chip-free CNC routing on both the top and bottom faces of the board. The compression geometry pulls chips upward from the bottom and pushes them downward from the top, so laminated and double-sided materials are left with smooth edges and less finishing work.
How a compression router bit works
A compression bit combines an up-cut section at the tip with a down-cut section above it. The up-cut section keeps the bottom face clean while the down-cut section stops the top face from lifting or chipping. For the full compression effect, set the cut depth so that both sections engage the material.
